Topping out of the PHN Group’s project in Łódź — the Olimpijczyk housing estate

Wednesday, July 14, 2021 - 16:25

Less than ten months since the commencement of construction, a topping out ceremony was held at ul. Kusocińskiego 115 and 117 in Łódź. This means that the construction works have been finished and the buildings have reached their target height. Over 90% of apartments have already been bought.

PHN Group's project is being implemented in the Polesie district, approximately 6 kilometers from the center of Łódź. Olimpijczyk housing estate is a comfortable place to live near green areas and close to a botanical garden, an aquapark and an event venue. The housing estate also has quick and easy access to the medical center, post office, numerous stores and educational institutions.

“This is an important moment that brings us closer to handing over the apartments to their new owners. We are very pleased with such huge interest among customers, which in the face of growing competition on the housing market isa great achievement for us. We are planning new housing projects in other large cities,” said Tomasz Górnicki, Vice-President for Investment, Polski Holding Nieruchomości.

— Unibep S.A. has been building housing estates with great results for years. “We are a significant general contractor of such projects in Warsaw and Poznań. We are pleased that we can apply our skills to other markets — in this case in Łódź. Our cooperation with the investor of the Olimpijczyk housing estate, i.e. PHN S.A., is going very smooth, so we believe that we are going to expand it in the future projects,” said Krzysztof Mikołajczyk, Vice-President of the Management Board of Unibep S.A., Construction Director.

Olimpijczyk housing estate is being implemented on an area of 1 ha, where two buildings with a total usable area (PUM) of 8,400 sq.m. are being built. A total of 166 apartments with functional and adaptable layouts will be built. Most of them are of medium sizes (40–60 sq.m.). Apartments located on the ground floor have their own gardens, and the ones located above have loggias and balconies. Completion of the project is planned for Q2 2022.

In addition to Olimpijczyk housing estate, the PHN Group is also carrying out the construction of Młoda Białołęka estate in Warsaw's Białołęka district and Insta 21 in Włochy district. Completion of these projects is planned for the next year and almost 430 apartments will constitute the total pool for sale.

Diversification of activities and increasing presence in the residential segment are crucial elements of PHN Group's development strategy. Next year, we are planning to start new residential investments in Warsaw, Bydgoszcz and Wrocław at ul. Zatorska,” added Tomasz Górnicki.
