Polski Holding Nieruchomości is once again getting involved in pro-environmental initiatives. On 22 March at 8:30 p.m., the company will turn off the lighting in selected office buildings in Warsaw, Poznań and Gdańsk, as part of the global “Earth Hour” campaign organized by the WWF. This is a symbolic gesture to emphasize the importance of environmental protection, sustainable development and responsible resource management.
Lighting will be turned off at several key PHN properties, including: Kaskada, INTRACO, Domaniewska Office Hub, Wilanów Office Park (Warsaw), Andersia Business Centre (Poznań) and Alchemia II (Gdańsk). This is part of PHN’s extensive sustainability efforts through investments in energy-efficient technologies, building upgrades and environmental education for tenants and business partners.
“As one of the leaders in the commercial property market, we want not only to symbolically support the Earth Hour initiative, but above all to emphasize the importance of real action to protect the environment. We believe that responsible business plays a key role in shaping a sustainable future, so we actively support projects that educate, inspire and encourage pro-environmental changes,” said Maciej Klukowski, Member of the Management Board for Managing Property Assets, Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.
PHN is constantly focused on implementing innovative solutions that help save energy, reduce CO2 emissions and lower its carbon footprint. The company strives to make all of its projects sustainable, both in terms of infrastructure and day-to-day operations.
The Earth Hour campaign has been organized since 2007 by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) and aims to raise awareness about climate change and the need to take action to protect the planet. Millions of people and institutions around the world participate in the event every year, and PHN, as a socially responsible company, is eager to support such initiatives.
