Polski Holding Nieruchomości and Polski Holding Hotelowy have signed a letter of intent paving the way for the modernization of the Regent Hotel, located at ul. Belwederska 23 in Warsaw. The planned investment, which is expected to be implemented between 2026 and 2027, will include a comprehensive range of design, construction, installation and arrangement works. The new hotel will operate under the JW Marriott brand, known for its elegance, attention to detail and quality service.

The hotel, located in a prestigious part of Warsaw in the vicinity of the Łazienki Park, is owned by Polski Holding Nieruchomości (75% of shares) and Polski Holding Hotelowy (25% of shares). The facility now offers more than 200 rooms, as well as conference and dining amenities. Thanks to the planned modernization, the property will gain a modern character and upgraded functional solutions to meet the expectations of business and individual guests, and align the hotel with the highest standards appropriate for a luxury brand.

“Undertaking cooperation on the modernization of the Regent Hotel is a unique opportunity for us
to combine the experience and know-how of the two companies in order to continue the history of the place, which is and will be even more strongly a showcase of luxury and modernity. This investment will enhance the comfort of our guests and introduce innovative solutions that will respond to the dynamically changing needs of the hotel market,” said Wiesław Malicki, President of the Management Board, Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A..

The modernization works are planned to include the design and delivery of new interior arrangements, an upgrade of installations and the replacement of equipment, which will maintain the five-star standard and align the hotel with the highest requirements. The parties have now begun preparations to develop a detailed investment plan and work schedule.

“The modernization that is about to begin is not only a refresh of the space, but above all a consistent step forward – towards creating a place that will become an unmatched model of modern luxury and an inspiration for the hotel industry. Thanks to the metamorphosis, the facility will offer its guests a unique experience, sophisticated aesthetics and an even higher level of comfort, while responding to the growing demands of the market and the aspirations of the most demanding travellers. The project reinforces the hotel’s position as an icon of local hospitality – boldly combining tradition with innovation, emphasizing that Regent is not only an address in a prestigious location, but above all an exceptional place to which one wants to return,” says Rafał Kincer, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Hotelowy.

The decision to work with the JW Marriott brand is an expression of its ambition to create hotel spaces that combine the highest standards with timeless elegance. JW. is a brand created for the most demanding travellers, for whom luxury means not only the highest standard, but also a deep sense of balance, authenticity and harmony. Inspired by the values of Marriott International founder John Willard Marriott, the brand is now present in key locations around the world. The modernization of the Regent Hotel is an example of synergy of two Polish companies and international experience – to the benefit of guests, the city and the entire market.
