The demolition of the 10-storey building in Świętokrzyska 36 by PHN Group entered the critical phase. The heaviest equipment entered the site to demolish the old building. A modern A-class high-rise building, which will enhance Warsaw’s skyline and deliver approx. 40,000 sq. m of leasable area to future tenants, will replace the old one.

Key demolition works of the building ul. Świętokrzyska 36, which attract the attention and interest of many Varsovians, have started. The building which for more than 50 years was part of the landscape of the city centre is now disappearing. Demolition works are conducted by the Tree consortium. According to the schedule, the demolition will be completed by the end of the year. The demolition was preceded by disconnection of the gas, water, and sewage pipes and telecom and power systems. Next, after gating the area, installations, cladding and woodwork were stripped off. The superstructure above the underground garage and the actual garage were also demolished.

On the site of the 60s building being demolished, in the very center right by the ONZ Roundabout, a state-of-the-art skyscraper will be constructed. The office building in Świętokrzyska 36 will be one of the first such buildings in Warsaw to have direct access to the underground station of ONZ Roundabout. With high quality finishing materials, modern and stylish interiors, and rich surrounding infrastructure, it will be a unique place and a comfortable working environment. The design and the architectural concept has been prepared by Polish-Belgian Office of Architecture. Construction of the new complex will begin after finishing the demolition and obtaining the final building permit.
