A commemorative plaque honouring the activities of the Deep-Sea Fishing and Fishery Services Company “Dalmor” and the long-lasting tradition of deep-sea fishing associated with this location has been unveiled at the Fishing Pier in Gdynia. The plaque was placed in the public space as a reminder of the important role the Fishing Pier has played in the city’s history.

The event was attended by representatives of the City of Gdynia, the maritime community, and Polski Holding Nieruchomości, among others. The ceremony also highlighted the importance of preserving the memory of the past in the context of modern investment activities, as emphasised by the President of the Management Board of PHN S.A.

“We are already planning the second phase of the Marina project. This part is a direct reference to the architectural heritage of Gdynia, namely its renowned and distinguished modernism. I believe this will allow us to create a space very typical of Gdynia, in terms of both architecture and spirit,” said Wiesław Malicki, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.

PHN continues to develop the area around the Fishing Pier with respect for its unique history. Investments planned in this location combine modern urban functions with the character of a place that is an important part of Gdynia’s identity.
