Polski Holding Nieruchomości and Poczta Polska have signed a lease extension agreement in the form of an addendum for the Domaniewska Office Hub building located at 8 Rodziny Hiszpańskich Street in Warsaw, reaffirming their commitment to a long-term partnership.
Poczta Polska has occupied office space at the Domaniewska Office Hub since 2015. The extended lease covers nearly 17,000 square metres of space in the building, designed for the operations of Poczta Polska and the companies from its Capital Group. As a result, Poczta Polska will remain a strategic tenant, ultimately occupying more than 60 percent of the facility’s total area.
Signing the addendum with Poczta Polska underscores the long-term and strategic nature of the relationships we are building with our tenants. This is an important signal for us that the ‘New Start’ strategy implemented by Polski Holding Nieruchomości effectively addresses the needs of large, demanding organisations and strengthens our position in the office market, said Wiesław Malicki, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.
One of the pillars of Poczta Polska’s Transformation Plan is to strengthen cooperation among the companies within its Capital Group, which will enable the Company to successfully transform from a traditional postal operator into a modern logistics, technology, and service hub. Consolidating the operations of our companies’ headquarters within a single location will help us achieve this goal. At the same time, it is crucial for Poczta Polska and the entire Group to build lasting relationships with our strategic business partners, which undoubtedly include Polski Holding Nieruchomości. That is why we are pleased to see the continuation of our long-standing cooperation, said Sławomir Żurawski, acting President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska S.A.
As a result of the signed lease extension, Poczta Polska will consolidate the headquarters operations of the Group companies in one location, consistently building synergies across the Group while pursuing objectives related to the optimisation of operating costs. We need well-located and attractive office space that provides a comfortable working environment for our teams,”said Wiesław Strąk, Vice President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska S.A.
The lease extension agreement provides for a comprehensive redesign of the office space, aimed at adapting it to the tenant’s current needs and ensuring an appropriate standard and level of user comfort.
The long-term lease extension for the Domaniewska Office Hub is the result of a strong understanding of the tenant’s needs and a flexible approach to the arrangement and functionality of office space. This project will provide a modern work environment and optimal conditions for the further development of Poczta Polska’s operations, and will also facilitate modernisation work throughout the building. At the same time, the extension of the partnership with Poczta Polska confirms that the Domaniewska Office Hub remains an attractive business address on Warsaw’s office market map, said Maciej Klukowski, Member of the Management Board for Managing Property Assets at Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.
Domaniewska Office Hub is a modern office building offering approximately 27,000 square metres of leasable space, located in the business district of Warsaw’s Mokotów area. The property offers convenient access to the city centre and the airport, as well as flexible office space configurations. Its key advantages include functional, well-lit spaces as well as environmentally friendly solutions certified with a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
