PHN and the Municipality of Czerwonak establish cooperation to develop renewable energy sources

Monday, April 27, 2026 - 12:57

Polski Holding Nieruchomości and the Municipality of Czerwonak have signed a letter of intent, paving the way for the implementation of innovative projects in the field of green energy. The aim of the partnership is to develop optimal solutions for supplying municipal facilities with energy from renewable sources.

The parties declared their intention to cooperate on activities aimed at jointly developing a profitability model as well as rules and principles defining the sale, purchase and offtake prices of electricity generated by RES installations for municipal facilities, taking into account the intended shared long-term objective of participating in an Energy Cooperative.

The document also outlines the next formal steps necessary to implement the undertaking. The partnership cooperation agreement will define the detailed activities to be undertaken in connection with the implementation of the planned project.

“Signing the letter of intent with the Municipality of Czerwonak is an important event for us. Cooperation with local governments in the area of green transition is an initiative that addresses important social and economic needs, while at the same time enabling us, as a company, to effectively pursue our sustainability objectives,” said Jacek Krawczykowski, Vice-President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.

The new partnership is in line with the assumptions adopted in the PHN Group Strategy for 2025–2030, “New Start”. In December 2025, PHN Group secured construction permits for a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of up to 28 MW, which marks an important step towards the PHN Group’s energy transition and improved operational efficiency.
